Ola! I'm Filipe, a qualified Portuguese teacher and I've taught hundreds of students over the last few years.

Through social media and my classes, I share Portuguese culture and language, with a touch of love and passion.

  • Yes and no.

    This course is completely self-paced, so it means you don't have the pressure of virtual classes and timetables. You can study when you want, where you want and how you want.

    There will be some live classes on days to be arranged, at 7PM or 8PM Lisbon time.

    Most of the course is recorded, but you'll also have the opportunity to have live lessons to practice with the conversational skills and ask your questions.

  • I seriously believe that if you have A1.1 level or are doing so, this course is tailor-made for you.

    You don't need a solid or strong level to join this course. It is aimed at students who want to progress and who have basic, unstructured knowledge.

  • The entire course is recorded in English and Portuguese. In other words, what I do is guide the lessons in English, focusing on Portuguese. Explanations are given in English.

    In the lessons on cultural topics you also have subtitles in Portuguese or English, if you want to use them.

    This course is aimed at students who also have a working knowledge of English.

  • After joining the course, you will receive a welcome email and the link to the course, as well as a receipt. You'll then have access to the first section of the course, where you'll learn about my guidelines.

  • If you don't like this course, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchasing it. There's no argument: your money, your rules.

  • Yes. This course includes a battery of practical exercises, some in quiz format and others interactive, guided by me, as if we were in the classroom together. 

    You'll also find exercises in audio format.

    There are two types of assignments: self-corrected exercises and assignments corrected by me, with feedback.

  • Sure. You can download PDF slides, but you can't download the recorded lessons (video). You need an internet connection to take this course, but you can download the materials and work offline.

  • After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own. This way, you can also download the material and consult it forever and repeat the lessons many times as you would like.
