When I moved to Portugal, I was really struggling with the language, just having a casual conversation with random people made me so nervous... It was simply that I didn’t know how to answer and that just made me feel so frustrated that I would always end up thinking ..please, don´t talk to me anymore.

Filipe is very approachable and creates a comfortable learning environment. I’ve been living in Portugal for some time and wanted to refocus on improving my Portuguese. Although I had already completed A2 before, I didn’t know if I was ready for B1. Filipe took the time to quickly understand my level and was flexible in letting me revisit parts of A2 to strengthen my gaps.

Olá! Meet your school teacher
I'm 34 and I live in the iconic and beautiful Costa Nova, in Aveiro. In the past, I lived in Lisbon for many years, where I began working one-on-one with students from all over the world.
I’m a quiet guy with a passion for languages, literature, travel and gastronomy. I also do some cool cooking, so they say.
I studied at two Portuguese universities and completed my Masters in Portuguese Teaching and Teaching Methods in 2017.
I've been working with students from different countries for about 8 years and I've almost lost count of how many I've helped. I've also worked in a few schools in Lisbon, with both native and foreign students.
I'm an optimistic and resilient teacher! My wish is to continue teaching my language and meeting people from all over the world. Can I count on you?
